Philosophy
I don't want people to question if these songs are real or not. On the contrary I want them to recognize the sound of AI.
This is called STUDIO5AI for a reason. Because I don't want to hide it.
See, most people making music with AI seem to wish for an output as close to recorded and human produced music as possible.
This way they can portray a fictitious artist as the singer or creator. With a name, a picture, and maybe even a background story. All fake of course, but a way to get clicks and plays.
I don't want AI to act like a human or replace one. I want the AI to be as much AI as it can and push the limits of its ability under my strong influence. By feeding it my own beats, lyrics or full songs. And a fitting genre.
To succeed I need to give it as much of me as I can. To give it quality inspiration. Garbage in garbage out is more true than ever.
And I will have to set a clear division of labour.

I will not make music with AI and not have it sound like AI
Making a music track with AI, is much like working with AI on other projects. I want to bring out a vibe and a setting that provides AI the room to do its magic.
How I do this goes something like this: I believe that AI can catch on to certain things in a way. If the lyrics are well written and with great flow that's where you start. Then hope AI will incorporate the lyrics with the music creating a product that leaves you wondering. A lot of the tracks are misses. I will at least do ten iterations of a song. Sometimes even more. And sometimes I learn that my song is just bad.
Embracing the mistakes and the quirks of AI as beautiful and special. That's where I go to make it recognizable as AI tracks. I want to hear that never heard before style mixed with the sounds of memory and wonder. I am basically playing AI as a fiddle (on a good day). Hopefully the tracks can get some love even though they are freaks of nature and you will be willing to fork over the dough.
